An analysis of 88 studies published in the Journal of Positive Psychology found that a strong predictor of goal attainment and success was directly connected to how people perceived themselves. The study, which included over 26,000 participants, found that those with a greater success rate in achieving goals possessed higher levels of self-confidence.
